Why would my ex suddenly tell me what great sex we had?

He knows I have a BF. I did tell my ex that I have some doubts about him. He (my BF) has a lunatic baby's mama who, kinda scares me and I haven't even met her yet. I care for my ex deeply as a friend. I still feel a bond with him, God knows why. He broke up with me BC he had no time for a GF. I was crushed. I couldn't hook up with him again. Not even for sex. I'm sure he'd been with other women and he would walk out on me again. Other than that, he's kind, smart, honest, considerate, patient and a man who stands up for what he believes in.

Sometimes I think that my current BF is just a rebound and I'm not ready to have a relationship yet. It was less than a year when I met my new guy.

I know he wasn't drunk when he (my ex) texted me about how great our sex was. He was working late. If he was drunk, alone and horny, I wouldn't give his text a second thought. I would assume it was just a weak moment, meaningless. When I called him about other business, he asked me if I was ok, but he didn't bring up the sexy text message.

What are your thoughts, men? women? marrieds?

OF COURSE that's why he texted you like that why else would he? because he misses your loving heart? He was direct when he told you what he missed. leave him alone, he just wants a piece, don't give him any. I'm proud of you for holding out, you are respecting yourself, keep it that way don't subject yourself to regrets. The current relationship you are in is not fulfilling you, so your ex is starting to look halfway decent again. Don't forget why it failed. You should break up with the current guy and be alone or find the right guy, but stop wasting your time with your ex and with a guy you're not fully into.

Question by Eliza: What does sex mean in its different forms?

I feel confused about sex.

What does sex mean when it is done within a loving and committed relationship? When it is done within a relationship that has deep meaning to it outside of sex as well.

What does sex mean when it happens during a one night stand when there are no feelings involved?

How can the same act be different in two different situations? How can it mean something different. If it meant nothing in one instance then why would it mean anything in another instance?

I strongly believe sex does not mean love, so then what does it mean?

Sex doesn't mean love - you can have sex without it eg; one night stands, flings, affairs etc.
That's lust.

When two people are in love sex is a consequence of that - an expression of their love. Love made physical.

So the difference is lust and love. While a one night stand will fill the physical hole it can't fill the emotional need for a stable and loving relationship.

So no sex isn't love. Sex is sex. But when done with someone you truly care about it becomes an act of love.

What can i expect from this date? sex?

By boyfriend and i are going to the coast for a night (we live aout 2 hours away from the coast). I am 16 and he is 17 and both virgins and we've been friends for about 2 years, dating for about 6 months. We really really like each other but i don't know what to expect from this trip. Just because you're taking a trip together, does not mean anything is going to happen beyond travel. It sounds like you're worried and/or building expectations for nothing.

As with most things in life, plan for the worst and hope for the best.

You know your boyfriend better than we do, and can predict his behavior better than us. While there are no guarantees, you have a say in what happens too.

Usually yes the woman can feel the hymen breaking but as to whether it hurts or not well that depends on the woman and the sex. Ways to minimise pain: be relaxed, aroused, wet and get the guy to go slow. Remember some women have their hymen break before sex and they don't even know it.
