Would using plastic wrap prevent an STD from occuring in oral sex for a woman?

I have a book by a famous woman gyn who suggests using plastic wrap during oral as safe sex for a woman with a partner she hardly knows. The sensations are the same. She also recommends dipping a man's organs in vinegar to test him for diseases. It might seems extreme but in the book "What Your Mother Never Told You about Sex" she offers these suggestions. How true is this? Is it a good guide to safe sex?

Evidently both of these are true. Certainly plastic wrap, if used properly, will prevent transmission of viruses, and apparently, vinegar can be used to identify warts.

I don't know if the oral sex will really feel the same, or how your guy will react to dipping his dick in vinegar. I'd suggest buying the vinegar by the gallon, you save by buying in quantity.
